 Jerry Rig (bass, vocals) | Buddy’s long-time pal and musical partner guy, Das Rig was born in Fargo, North Dakota, and grew up undecided as to whether he liked the Beatles, Hank Williams or Nat "King" Cole mo’ better. As an adult, he started to look a lot like Elvis Costello and became one of them thar new wavers. Slappin’ the upright bass, picking guitar and singin’ real purty, Rig became a fixture on the San Diego roots rock scene with stints in the Outriders, the Prestones, the Hooligans and the Sleepwalkers. Jerry has been playing with Blue for the last three years when not otherwise busy collecting vintage clothes, scary Jesus paraphernalia and drinking a truly amazing amount of beer. Jerry’s favorite pastime, though, seems to be subjecting Buddy to B-52s tapes on the way to LA gigs.

 Bruce Gilbert (sax and keys) | L.A. born-and-raised Bruce is a mean mother!?@?# and we ain’t kidding! The guy plays piano and sax and kicks serious ass on both of ‘em. His contributions to "Pretend It’s Okay" marked a big turnaround in the Blue sound. Among the heavies Kool Brucie-G has worked with are Little Esther Phillips, Little Feat’s Paul Barrere and jazz trombone god Frank Rehak. Although Bruce looks more like a dentist than troublemaker these days, the guy is a former junkie and we have to keep him reined in on a leash so he doesn’t relapse and steal your grandma’s purse. Do NOT buy this man drinks, offer him cigarettes and for god’s sake don’t shoot your heroin when he’s around or BIG trouble could result.

| ? Tom Panella (drums) Picture not available | Tommy Salami hails from Washington DC, where as just a little TP he toured and recorded with guitar hotshots Danny Gatton and Roy Buchanan. He later moved to LA and worked with such acts as the Temptations, Elvin Bishop and Dave Mason. He moved to San Diego five years ago and has played with local groups like the Shelltown Horn Band, Hot Chicken Stew and Hot Rod Lincoln. Tom gets real anal about the whole drum thing and owns 21 trap kits! A lifelong vegan, the guy also is VP of J&P Nutriceuticals, a Chinese herb company. Lastly, the guy is Italish -- half Italian, half Jewish -- which means if you serve him a bad matzoball he might shoot you in the face.

 | After recording and co-producing the last three Buddy Blue CDs and making them sound real seriously spiffy, Svenny has now officially earned the right to be considered the Fifth Blueball even though he doesn’t play in the band (he has his own band, even). Give Sven your business. He’ll record ya, produce ya, oversee the manufacture of yer CDs, design yer website and then for an encore get down on his knees and......just kidding.
